Small businesses owners gain a competitive edge through "marketing visions"
A Berkshire consultancy has launched a workshop programme to improve small business owners personal marketing skills so that they can take full advantage of every potential opportunity.
"Marketing Visions" - an affordable programme of six monthly workshops hosted by PR and marketing partnership Zarywacz in conjunction with coaching specialist CoRelate - helps businesses to identify their vision, create their own authentic presentation style and develop the confidence to promote themselves naturally and enthusiastically.
"When youre a small business marketing can be very expensive, but many businesses arent making the best use of the most effective marketing tool freely available to us - ourselves," says Robert Zarywacz, managing partner.
"At every networking event and seminar, we meet a large proportion of business owners who have great products and services, but who are hesitant about giving their business the voice it deserves," adds Gwynneth Hewetson, founder of CoRelate.
Understanding that many businesses simply do not have ten thousand pound budgets to spend on advertising and PR, the programme aims to integrate marketing into the daily activity of small businesses at little extra cost.
"With tough competition created by many businesses offering similar products and services, often the only difference between them is people," continues Hewetson.
"Thats why an effective marketing message and the confidence to convey this to an audience at a moments notice is so important."
Each seminar will focus on a practical activity that can be applied over the following month. A maximum of eight participants for each programme ensures that every individual enjoys the full benefit of the workshops.
The first workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, 24th April at the MWB Exchange in Bracknell. The programme can be paid for in six advance instalments of £75 & VAT or by a single discounted pre-payment of £400 & VAT for all six workshops. Prices include workshop materials, refreshments and parking.
"The interest we have received has been tremendous," concludes Zarywacz. "We are looking to schedule more programmes in locations across the Thames Valley and would be pleased to hear from individuals or groups of businesses throughout the area."
